Commitment is measured in two dimensions, clarity and energy. Clarity improves if the individual perceives that targets and expectations are clear. Energy increases if individ­uals feel motivated and proud of their own performance. Improved target-­driven management and feedback are the primary reasons for the increase in commitment.
