Annika Ferm took over the role as Information Manager as of 1 February 2011 succeeding the interim Information Manager Johan Tisell. Annika Ferm will be part of the executive management.
For a certain period, the Swedish Competition Authority had conducted a review to ascertain whether Casino Cosmopol pursues competition-distorting sales operations, following a report from the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association. The Competition Authority decided on 1 January 2011 not to pursue the matter further, since the Casino Cosmopol presented an action plan in response to the viewpoints. On 19 February 2011, a customer in the Helsingborg area won a "Dream Winnings" lottery worth SEK 123,900,556, the third largest winning ever.
