Key events 2021

Exciting games. We launched several new games. For the new Vikinglotto, the likelihood of winning the jackpot is now greater. Major efforts have been put into preparing for the sale of online lottery pools which will launch in early 2022. It will then become possible to play Eurojackpot, Keno, Lotto, Joker and Vikinglotto online and together with other customers. Overall, we see the purchase of online numbers games is increasing. Playing together is more fun and increases the chances of winning.

Online is growing. More and more customers are choosing to meet us online. The pandemic accelerated the trend, as more and more players opted to use digital services for both games and other entertainment. We continued to develop our digital offering. This included improving the experience of gifting lottery tickets digitally and for those receiving lottery tickets as a gift.

Improved customer contact. We are improving our communication with customers using digitalisation, automation and personalisation. Customers receive more relevant information based on their interests and behaviour. Both product and game tracking communication are customised.

Collaboration for better games. Svenska Spel is a member of the Lotteries Entertainment Innovation Alliance (LEIA) where the purpose is to strengthen the power of innovation within the Tur product portfolio. LEIA is owned by members Svenska Spel, Danske Lotteri Spil, French Française des Jeux, Norsk Tipping and Finnish Veikkaus. During the year, we implemented a new IT platform via LEIA to enable new and exciting digital games.

Celebrations in 2021. Triss, one of Sweden's best-loved brands, celebrated its 35-year anniversary, including a commemorative lottery ticket with winnings of millions above and beyond the norm.

Focus moving forward. Going forward, we will continue to develop our customer interaction, both physically and digitally. In addition, we have several new products in the pipeline to be launched in the spring of 2022.
