Key events 2021

New within betting. We launched a new sports betting platform in partnership with Draftkings. For customers, the service means an expanded range of games and new features such as bet builder and cash out. Bet builder allows multiple bets to be combined on the same match and cash out allows the customer to sell their game before it is settled. Unfortunately, the launch was not problem-free. Our top priority has been to have everything function as intended.

Development of our games. . We launched several hundred new online casino games, including the popular Mega Moolah, as well as a new lobby focusing on functionality and simplicity. We also continued to develop the game category “trav & galopp” by launching three new game forms and a new improved experience of the reveal. In addition, we added a video on demand (VOD) archive that allows customers to watch re-runs of races.

More fun together. The concept “Spela tillsammans” (play together) continues to increase in popularity, both between customers and between agents and customers. We have refined the solutions and the range is now available both over the counter and online. Finally, we were delighted by the hefty influx of new customers in connection with the European Soccer Championship.

Custom communication. Like other business areas, Sport & Casino developed solutions for more tailored and relevant communication, based on customer preferences, tastes and behaviour. This included products, marketing, and “spelkoll” communication (an important part in our responsible gambling work in order to help our customers keep better track of their gaming).

Focus moving forwardIn 2022, we will continue to develop our broad and strong offering with new products and services. The coming year is characterised by several major championships and good opportunities to attract new customers.
